T.I. held a 12 week summer camp titled K.I.N.G. CAMP aimed at uplifting inner-city youth. Awards in conduct, leadership, sportsmanship, and academic achievement were giving at the end of the camp. The mayor of Atlanta, Kasim Reed and the Ambassodor Andrew Young, attended the end of camp ceremony. In the video below, TI speaks to the campers about working hard and not always seeing immediate results, but at some point in life you will, and at that point you will understand why the work you did then was necessary for you now. He also presented each camper with a brand new laptop computer, not as a gift, but a reward for their hardwork and dedication shown throughout camp. His only request..."take the information and lessons learned from the camp to better themselves."
"It all begins with being a K.I.N.G. of yourself"
-T.I.
